The 48-hour backpack in this series presents a 6.5-liter (396.35 cu. inches) main storage compartment and four additional compartments, as well as open side pouches and a standard “MOLLE system,” providing the combatant with a variety of options for personal adaptation. The unique structure of the backpack enables access to equipment in two ways – an upper opening, similar to a sack, provides quick access to equipment in the upper section of the backpack, without needing to fully open the panel, or opening the whole panel, which provides access to equipment in the main storage space. The backpack has an adjustable back system adapted for carrying on top of full combat equipment.
